About
Evrim Hikmet Öğüt is a Doctoral Student in Ethnomusicology at Istanbul Technical University Centre for Advanced Studies in Music (MIAM). She completed her under-graduate studies and master program at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSGSU) Department of Musicology, her master thesis being on the relation between contemporary Turkish music and contemporary Turkish poetry. She is currently working at MSGSU Department of Musicology as a research assistant, teaching history of music.
